Hi Bea! We all did that, Ian and I did it under the guise of "checking" it over for inappropriate treats. They get quite protective of it as they get older. Have fun with your kiddies tonight. love and hugs lillie
They do get more protective as they get older, but then I just get more blatent about taking it too! I feel so bad FOR THEM when Halloween in near my PMS cycle...
Actually they never really seem to mind. AS long as it is ME and not their older brother. We always had them dump their candy on the floor and we sorted it out. No one had their own bags, we'd have chip bags, choc. bar bags, sour and chewies...well you get the idea. It worked out great, never any fighting! And I knew which bag to seek out when I wanted a snack :)
Speaking of which..I think I need a little 'snack'
I would always go through and pick out the ones I liked best too.

Funny...it is that time of the month. Which makes eating well very difficult without the added chocolate temptation:)
