I hear that March is Question and Answer time here in blogland. I can't imagine what questions you might have for me because if you read my blog, I don't leave out much detail. So I asked Levi if he would mind answering some questions. Here is how our conversation went:
Hey honey, would you be up for some Q and A on my blog?
(this was said while my head was half in a cabinet, so he heard something completely different)
Tits and Ass! (said in a shocked voice with a look of are you crazy!)
Babe, (said while trying not to laugh out loud) Q and A...questions and answers.
Oh. It depends on the question.
So there you have it...He might answer your questions...he might not. If you do have any for me, I will surely try to answer them...and no, there will be no T and A on my blog:) (so sorry to disappoint anyone)
ROFLMBO...Ya know where a man's mind is when he hears 'Tits and A$$' rather than 'Q & A'!
ReplyDeleteOk Bea...here's my question and I would really love to hear your answer and Levi's answer:
Do you think that if you had known about it when you were first married, you could have successfully incorporated TTWD into your marriage?
Blessings,
Cat
Hmmmm...I might need clarification on this one...we don't do TTWD or I guess we have our own version (I like to call it That thing without discipline:)), I suppose we are trying to practice more traditional roles? I began reading these blogs because their marriages had the things I wanted...communciation, strong male leadership, strong, educated women who defer to their husbands, intimacy, closeness, etc. So can I rephrase the question to him as what we are doing now? Or did you know and wanted to know if we would have considered it then?

Bea
Hey Bea...If you are trying to practice more traditional roles, you are doing TTWD...modified to suit your marriage! :D My question is basically...if you had read these blogs when you were first married, could you have successfully incorporated the changes you are making now into your new marriage. Does that make more sense?
DeleteI love reading answers but I never know what questions to ask :-) Ok here is one totally irrelevant to TTWD but here it goes... What is the favorite food of your pickiest eater? My daughter is going through stage where all she wants to eat is chocolate and sweets and pasta...trying to find something that might excite her about eating something healthy. Thanks :-)
ReplyDeleteOk, my middle child is FOR SURE my pickiest eater, but he loves fruit. His current favorite is Cuties...I don't know where you live and if they have them, but they are easy to peel, seedless, Mandarin oranges. They are unfortunately a little pricey...but, hey...he is eating oranges so I can't really complain. I have recently gotten him to like raw carrots. He won't touch any other veggie with a ten foot pole. If she likes pasta, they make this pasta now that is fortified with a serving of vegetables:) I have had to resort to being sneaky. Unfortunately, his other favs are pizza, chicken nuggets, Kraft mac and cheese, etc. Not exactly healthy choices. I make one dinner and often he doesn't eat it so I make sure that he has very healthy breakfasts and lunches. I also offer his choice of fruit with his dinner. I didn't used to, but then he would wake up feeling sick because he hadn't eaten anything. Hope this helps and good luck. I am hoping it is just a phase. My mother keeps telling me to be careful what I wish for because when he is a teen he will likely eat me out of house and home:)

I have a question for you... do you live near saguaros? If so, we're neighbors... :)
ReplyDeleteI don't actually live near these beatiful cacti, but the cacti are to remind me not to be a cactus. You can read about my revelation that I was being a cactus in Cactus Chronicles from November if you are interested.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the question!
