On to my Public Service Announcement:
I was strolling along and spied this in the ladies pajama department...uh, WOW.

Now, I hope that I will not offend anyone here...I get it, they look warm and snugly, you can wear these in front of your kids, but unless you live in the arctic or alone with a bunch of cats...your husband is not going to be having sexy thoughts about you while wearing these.
I once got an over sized pajama tshirt from my parents that had a particular character on it. I loved it. It was comfy, the kids thought it was cool, but when I happened to ask Levi last year if there was anything I wore that he hated...the only thing he could come up with was that pair of pajamas. So I ditched them...do yourself a favor...just don't buy these.
Unless of course, your spouse thinks footie pajamas are hot...then by all means, go for it. I happen to know that mine would probably fire up the grill for these. But I do like to put some spicy things in his stocking...usually for me to wear.
So I put a few things in my basket:

Here lately he has mentioned SEVERAL times that he thinks I should wear thongs for him. Ugh...really? Ok...eye roll...so I threw a few pair of those in there too.
I know these aren't necessarily the prettiest things ever but I just can't do lace up the butt. He'll get over it:)
As much as I love his body...I do NOT want to see HIM in a thong, but these particular underwear are the BEST THINGS EVER!!! I HIGHLY recommend them for your man:
They are SNOB bamboo boxers (they come in briefs too) and they are apparently Canadian...so may be easier to get in Canada, but I have to order them online. We picked them up on vacation recently and should have bought more. They are incredibly soft! LOVE THEM!!
I usually throw some other things in there too towards the bottom that he has to peek at without pulling all the way out...otherwise we would both be mortified! I ordered this for his stocking this year:
I have never been disappointed with this brand. They have all kinds of things...and they all taste good...not nasty with after tastes or anything.
I try to stick a few boring things in his stocking too so that he can take some things out...otherwise the kids would be all nosy.
What do you fill your husband's stocking with?
fun stocking stuffers...I tend not to put anything "sexy" in the stocking...just little things for my man like his favorite candy, an air freshener for his car, chapstick...though I like your ideas...so maybe I can get some of those and have him open up those later... :-) Hugs
ReplyDeleteA car freshener is one I hadn't thought of and he is obssesed with car cleanliness! Thanks for the idea!

in the stocking that the kids see, usually some good beers, socks, cool stuff from REI. Then there's the stocking that the kids won't see - I'm going to have to check out your suggestions. Where do you order the underwear?
ReplyDeleteHey Leah...that is a thought to put those things in a seperate stocking:) Although I think he kind of likes the surprise at the bottom that he can't show...email me and I will give you the phone number...I went to order some more and have to do it by phone now:)
DeleteNice ideas Bea!

Last year I did an early Xmas Eve gift exchange with Barney. Things that stay in the bedroom. It looks like it will happen again this year, although as I said to a few girls, " Send a mental health professional stat!" I bought him a couple of things he was eying . Not good for me I don't think. Tis the season of giving right?
ReplyDeleteOooooh...just don't be naughty:)...or do?:) LOL! I think I like the idea of giving it Christmas Eve except we are usually putting presents together until the wee hours...kinda too tired for certain things:)

You make me laugh Bea! Those PJ's do look cozy, but just think how cold it would be to get out of them before getting into bed.
ReplyDeleteI have not bought a single gift with the exception of one very serious one for my hubby. It is right along the lines of Willie's "send a health professional stat" gifts. I know what I was thinking but sheesh!
LOL...read above Susie:) Just be an angel...or don't:) and when y'all get upset by the consequences I will send you a health professional in a box:)
DeleteI hope you finish your shopping soon...I still have quite a bit to do.

Hey easy on the arctic, we have feelings too!
ReplyDeleteMy wife wouldn't be allowed in bed wearing something like that though, even if it is 5F right now.

Yikes!! I might have to wear them and a beanie, gloves, and scarf to bed in 5F temps!! So what would you tell her? Nope...take it off? Just curious:) Levi has a look.
